Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania are regarded as one of the world’s most pristine African safari destinations. The countries have some of the best national parks, conservancies, and game reserves in Africa. Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania are known for their unspoiled and varied landscapes, remarkable conservation initiatives, high concentration of wildlife, outstanding sightings, and breathtaking diversity of the game. Very few places in the world can compete with the glittering scenery, wealthy diversity of wildlife, and habitats that Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda have to offer. Its’ plentiful wildlife is prominent; which makes it a top destination for birdwatching|wildlife photography|Bird photography and nature-focused holiday goers. Kenya’s leading national parks and reserves, which include the;  Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Amboseli National Park, Tsavo National Park, Samburu-Buffalo Springs-Shaba National Reserve, Meru National Park, and Laikipia Conservancies, are home to the exceptional and high number of game. East Africa’s plains are home to the last great herds of wildlife in Africa, there are almost 100 species of grazers, and these species together with a large variety of predators and scavengers make East Africa the last Eden. Overall there are an impressive 1116 species of mammals in the region.

East Africa is a true year-round safari destination. Choosing where to go will depend on the season and what sort of wildlife you desire to see – whether it’s the wildebeest migration, gorillas and chimpanzees trekking, mountaineering, photography tour, camping, or just good all-round game viewing. The annual wildebeest migration in the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem is always a big attraction and usually means more safari visitors. The herds of wildebeest and zebra move with the rains in search of fresh green grass, the migration happens between the months of July to October.

Tanzania has the huge Serengeti National Park,  the famous Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Mikumi National Park, Ruaha National Park, Udzungwa Mountains, Saadani National Park, and  Selous Game Reserve ( Nyerere National Park). Tanzania’s east coast on the Indian Ocean lays the ‘spice island’ of Zanzibar. The old Stone Town is a UNESCO Heritage listed site and a tour of the town divulges its intricate history. The exotic island of Zanzibar possesses white sand beaches, clear, viridescent water, and coral reefs that provide brilliant sightings of colorful fish plus beach hotels offering barefoot luxury; a relaxing conclusion to any East African safari.

Uganda is a great destination with magnificent access to primate jungles, unique birdwatching expeditions, mountaineering, and a great variety of cultural experiences, all in a single tiny country. Uganda has Mabira Forest, Mabamba Swamp, Ruwenzori Mountains, Kidepo National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Kibale National Park-home to more than 1000 Chimpanzees and a prime tracking spot, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Mgahinga National Park,  Queen Elizabeth Park, Murchison Falls, and Semliki National Park.
